Our ONE-TO-ONE GENERAL ENGLISH IMMERSION COURSE
+ INSTITUTE COURSE will appeal to those who wish to improve their
English in everyday situations, using and mastering normal expressions
and good use of language with their own personal teacher for an immersion
of one two or more weeks before going on to class based lessons at a partner
institute in the city of Dublin. This combination course is suited to
those who want to improve their general English rapidly in a relaxed immersion
situation allowing for excellent preparation before entering a class for
the remainder of the course. This formula has been tried and tested and
allows for maximum progress and use of time.
Concerning language those specific areas such as
speaking practice and listening activities, good pronunciation, correct
use of grammar, vocabulary development including some directed reading
and writing will be covered to improve
your communication skills. Constant feedback and firm but diplomatic correction
of errors feature in all courses being essential for meaningful progress.
Your teacher will offer all the assistance and encouragement you need
to help you improve and achieve your goals for the course.
As with all our courses, your specific needs will be identified and prioritised
in the first lesson and the course will be designed to meet these needs.
Our one-to-one method allows for continuous monitoring of progress and
meeting evolving language needs so you can rest assured that your teacher
will be flexible to ensure your course is relevant to your needs.
Following your immersion course you will then go to our fully recognized
and accredited institute for the remainder of your course and study at
a level that is appropriate for you allowing maximum interaction with
others and opportunity to practise what you have learned. This is also
a cost effective solution.
Note for courses
Your initial course is an immersion course with your own private teacher
on a one-to-one basis staying with your teacher for the duration of the
course with full board and accommodation for the number of hours and weeks
chosen. You may choose any number of weeks and 20, 25 or 30 hours lessons
per week.
Following your immersion course you can then transfer to the institute
to study with others in a class based situation at your correct level.
Accommodation can be self-catering or homestay depending on your requirements.
You may choose the number of weeks and schedule that best suits you. As
this is a very flexible course with lots of alternatives please contact

Information on all courses
Every course involves some work on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary,
speaking, listening, reading and writing. In your language needs analysis
you will discuss the approximate amount of time you would like to spend
on the various language areas. Your teacher will of course give you professional
advice but your wishes are always respected and taken into account in
every course! Therefore the content and direction of your course is planned
with you and only you in mind.
Lessons for all courses are 60 minutes each with a 10 minute rest period
and take place in the morning and early afternoon depending on the number
of lessons you have booked. The exact schedule will be discussed and agreed
with your teacher on the first morning however it is usual to have the
majority, if not all, of the lessons completed in the morning. This schedule
will enable you to maximise your free time to explore the city and surrounding
area.
There will be a certain amount of homework assigned each day connected
to the language covered. This provides a chance for valuable practice
of what you have learned and allows your teacher to monitor your progress.
The amount of homework assigned is agreed with you and should take no
more than an hour or so to complete.
On the final day of your course there will be an opportunity for feedback
and your teacher will recommend a strategy for future study when you return

time in the future!
